Laird showed us why he is one of the top hitters in his class at the BC Future Games Trials. The 2026 grad stands at 5-9, 175Ibs and has advanced bat-to-ball that you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else in the country. He has a short swing path, looking to elevate to the big part of the field. The barrel control was evident, with every ball being hit between the gaps, and 10 of 12 were over 87 mph reaching a max exit velocity of 96 mph. Laird was one of the top hitters on the Langley Blaze pro Tour back in March despite being one of the youngest players there.
