7/17/19

5-foot-7, 190-pound, strong, thick, well proportioned athlete. The wrists, forearms are thick and super strong. A right-handed hitting middle infield, who has serious feel for the game. At the plate, stance is taller, even feet, loose relaxed hands. The swing is level through the zone, understands how to keep the hands inside the baseball spraying line drives from gap to gap. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 84 mph, ran a 4.48 from home to first. Collected two hits including a double during game play. Defensively, soft clean hands, feet work well together, solid turns and feeds up the middle. Projects out more as a second baseman, arm was clocked at 74 mph. Look for him to play at the next level, sold prospect.

Tee Exit Velocity: 84 mph
Arm Velocity: 74 mph

7/17/18

6-foot, 180-pound, strong, thick, athletic frame. The wrists and lower half have above average strength to them. A right -handed hitting middle infielder, better suited for second base long term, has a serious chance to hit and be an offensive guy at that position. The stance is balanced throughout, front foot slightly open, taller in the box, and hands are super relaxed at the shoulders. The swing is short and quick to the baseball, approach is more to the pull side, could stay through it a tick longer, with some more backside drive. The bat and barrel have life to it, solid hard contact all day in batting practice and game play. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 78 mph, with a ton more in there, as he learns to get through the baseball more. Time down the line was ok at 4.56. Defensively, prep steps and footwork is good, gets around the baseball with momentum moving towards target. The hands are soft out front and shows to have a quick clean transfer to throwing arm. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, its short and quick on the backside, clocked at 70 mph. The feeds and pivots were clean on both sides of the bag. Baseball IQ and feel for the game is advanced, good bloodlines, big follow for me.

Home-First: 4.51
Exit Velocity: 78 MPH
Arm Velocity: 70 MPH
