Kaskaskia commit, currently ranked No. 211 in the state. The southpaw took the rubber against the Ironmen and threw it well over his five innings of work, scattering four hits with no earned runs, no walks and four strikeouts. The southpaw has a simple and repeatable operation, working with some pace into balance point and gaining momentum quickly down the mound, remaining in-line. His arm plays long in the back into a high ¾ release. Reaka’s fastball cruised in the 82-84 mph range with running action to his arm-side, topping out at 85 mph and collecting plenty of weak contact throughout the day. He also showed some feel for a curveball at 74-76 mph, displaying the ability to create depth on it as well as sweep.

Uncommitted. Strong, 6-foot-3, 210-pound. Had a brief appearance on the mound, up-tempo delivery, medium leg lift with tuck, tall/fall that works in-line. Short arm action out of a ¾ slot, has noticeable acceleration out front. In this outing, fastball sat 82-84 mph with some armside run, also mixed in a breaking ball with 2400 RPM. Sprayed around the zone in this look, but the upside is there on the Southern Illinois southpaw.
