1B Cal Hanson (Grayslake Central, 2025) is another left-handed hitter with a high ceiling from Sunday’s event. Listed at a wiry 6-foot-3, 180-pounds, Hanson has a lean/athletic build that still holds room for added development in the future. At the plate, Hanson showed some rhythm in his hands, rocking them back in-stride before firing through with an uphill path, displaying intent to lift to his pull-side with loose hands through the zone, reaching up to 91.8 mph for his max EV. Defensively, Hanson has fluid and smooth actions with comfortable footwork around the bag.
