6/27/17: At the plate hits from a crouch setup.  Minimal load, leg kick timing trigger.  Average use of his lower half.  Maintains balance throughout his swing.  Long swing path, pull-side hitter.  Consistent hard contact during his BP.  Defensively, average hands, fluid footwork, long exchange.  Plays through the baseball with some athleticism.  PITCHING: pitches from a short, high 3/4 arm action.  Good balance with some effort in the delivery.  Drop and drive type delivery with smooth rhythm and level shoulders.  Good direction, lands square with an upright finish.  Repeats.  Fastball is straight and thrown for a strike.  Breaking ball currently lacks identity and is erratic in the zone.  CH thrown with near fastball arm speed with occasional sink and fade.  Cutter has slider type shape.
