Colin Garrity: 3B/RHP, (2026) Hingham, MA. 180-pound projectable athletic frame. Projectable at the plate, Garrity was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 90 mph. (69.1 mph bat speed average). (21.7 mph hand speed average). Begins in a wide closed stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was quick developing, showed a flat simple swing plane and level finish. In the round he found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 79 mph; had developing in control footwork, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Capable on the mound, used a consistent arm action with an over-the-top arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-75 mph; showed control arm side around the zone and sinking action. (Max spin 2250; Avg 2137). Has glove side sporadic control and sweeping action on his curveball (64-65). (Max spin 1956; Avg 1953). His changeup (70-72) showed hard action.
