Dylan Snelson: 2B/SS, (2022) Burlington, MA. 5-foot-7, 160-pound. Solid during batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Starts in an open stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is quick, has an uphill swing plane and a back foot finish. Was able to create a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels.Pull side approach. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 73 mph; shows a clean exchange, smooth rhythmic feet, and soft hands. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 78 mph; shows a fluid exchange, sure hands, and rhythmic feet. Fields the ball out front. From a ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short arm action.

Hit: (RHH) Begins in an open stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Quick bat speed. Back foot finish, uphill swing. Pull side approach. 

Power: 88 mph exit velocity, average 77.99 mph. 71.01 mph bat speed average. 21.00 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, smooth rhythmic footwork, clean exchange. Solid. (OF) Sure hands, rhythmic footwork, fluid exchange. Solid. Uses his glove out front. 

Arm: 73 mph infield velocity. 78 mph outfield velocity. Short arm action, ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.

5-foot-6, 145-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Showed good athleticsm at the workout as the movements are all quick. The feet and process through the ball are done appropriately, he threw 72 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup at the dish is even in base, slightly open with the front foot. The front foot closes down and the hands work freely to the ball. The path to the ball is uphill, as he matures, flattening the path will be crucial in plate coverage.
