Sean Higgins: LHP/1B, (2025) Archbishop Williams, MA. 6-foot-5, 240-pound mature build. Projectable at the plate, Higgins clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. (60.4 mph bat speed average). (20.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced wide stance with a tight load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was developing, showed an upward long swing plane and high finish. He produced some loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. Capable while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 62 mph; has developing feet, developing hands, and a developing exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Showed a ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 8.2 at the event. Capable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he used a ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point and falling off shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 68-69 mph; has arm side control and running action. (Max spin 1562; Avg 1478). Had sweeping action and glove side control on his curveball (55-56). (Max spin 1776; Avg 1736).
