7/11/18- 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed throwing pitcher. Good frame. Slight turn to start and fluid delivery. Good direction down mound with hard tilted 85-87 mph fastball. Tough angle to square. Lacks command and consistently missed arm side. Sharp 11/5 curveball at 72-73 mph with arm speed. Good feel for 77-79 nph change-up with fade.
3/17/18- 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. The long, 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-hander appears to be another in what is becoming a long line of pitchers coming out of Stillwater High School. Still showing signs of more physical growth and filling out in the future, Dandelet worked 83-85 with a fastball that jumped through the zone. Throwing slightly over his front shoulder as he sat on his back side down the mound, Dandelet deceptively works linear down the mound. I was impressed with the adjustments that he made throughout the bullpen, especially with the breaking ball. The pitch worked 70-72, and featured sharper, slider type break on some occasions, but more 11/5 curveball break at others. He also showcased a changeup at 69-72. Given his long, loose arm and quick hand speed out front, Dandelet should have a chance to make another jump in the future.
