2/19/18 - Leary is a long and lean 6-foot-2 180-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.09 home to first and has a 91 mph exit velocity. At the plate, open stance with some pre-pitch rhythm in hands, in line toe touch to stride, accelerated and smooth tempo with feel for the barrel, middle to pull side line drives during hitting evaluations.  On the infield, over the top arm slot, loose arm action, athletic actions, gains ground with feet after the catch to throw, 81 mph positional velocity, will continue to add strength to build and athletic actions. On the mound, Leary has a drop and drive type delivery, short over the top arm slot, arm works, throws downhill with slight tilt, throws with regular effort and accelerated tempo as he releases, throws strikes fastball at 78-81 mph, curveball up at 66-67 mph, some with late break flashing depth, change up at 70-75 mph, occasional arm side sink, fastball arm speed.
