Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
87.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Physical: Athletic two-way presence at 6-foot, 170lbs. 7.00 runner in the 60-yard dash. Binghamton commit.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, balanced stance, as the hands operated calm and pre-set by the ear. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a slight uphill, connected path into the hitting zone. Allows the levers to get involved in an impact position, landing hard barrels to the pull-side of the field (366 foot distance per Trackman). Grabbed a T96 mph bat-exit velocity with advanced rotational scores. XBH approach transferred directly into gameplay.
Defensively: The shortstop featured bouncy footwork and soft hands at the point of attack. Sat down on the ball when needed, but accelerated towards the target and got rid quickly from a H ¾ slot (80 mph, moderate effort).
Pitching: RHP. Started from the left side of the rubber; slower drop step and hip-coil at the top of the stack. Clean move into footstrike that closed the gap quickly through a H ¾ slot. The FB peppered the zone at 81-84 mph, showing his normal 2400+ rpms spin rates. Mixed two-plane 71-74 mph CB at a 100% zone rate for whiffs and fading 78-79 mph CH as a weapon vs. lefties.
6/15/21
Physical: Athletic, lean 6-foot, 160lb frame with projection left and some two way abilities. 7.22 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with the hands controlled at the shoulder with minor rhythm pre-pitch. Utilized a short toe tap stride, arriving even at a wide attack for launch, entering the hitting zone through an accurate/flat path. Top of the order profile with good bat to ball skills and feel for the barrel during a strong batting practice round. Adjustable hands/lower half hitting pitches in any quadrant hard up to T91 mph bat-exit velocity, posting a 22% line drive rate per Trackman Baseball. Showed doubles power in the approach, jumping on fastballs thrown on the inner half early in counts. Success transferred over to gameplay finding multiple hits (one on the ground up the middle, the other a sharply hit single to LF).
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured light footwork and downhill posture over the front side on his approach to the fielding window. Fielded off the middle of his body with two hands and a low glove hand, funneling softly to the waist line and releasing from a ¾ v-slot across the diamond accurately (76 mph arm, medium intent). Held solid pace and was able to move laterally to his left with consistency.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber with a gaining pace in the delivery; got to a balanced stack position with some hip coil before stretching down the slope and getting over the front side (medium stride length) at H ¾ creating slight downward tilt. FB ranged from 80-82 mph with some carry to the bottom of the zone for strikes, adding a deceptive 68-70 mph CB with more sweep than depth to it.
