7/25/19

5-foot-3,120-pound, smaller thin athletic frame. Rounded shoulders, good strength in hands, with room for added weight. A right-handed hitting middle infielder. At the plate, stance is wider, feet are even, hands loose and relaxed at the shoulders. The bat starts in a strong loaded position, for timing uses a controlled bigger toe tap, gaining ground with stride foot. The hands work well through the hitting zone, path is level to up, keeps the hands inside the baseball. The approach in more line drives to the pull side. Showed hard solid contact in batting practice, collected a tee exit velocity of 70 mph and ran a 7.53 sixty yard dash. Defensively, projects out more as a second baseman long term. Threw 64 mph across the diamond, arm action is short and clean, throwing from his ear, out of a 3/4 slot. The hands are soft, fields out front, with active and feet and good actions. Starts and turns were performed well. Grinder type player, need to see him a bunch to appreciate what he will bring to a team.

Tee Exit Velocity: 70 mph
Arm Velocity: 64 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.53

4/11/19

5-foot-9, 155-pound, smaller, thin athletic frame, with room for added strength and weight. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, at the plate, hands work with ease. The feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are loose with pre-pitch movement to them. The lower half is under control, uses small toe tap for timing. The swing is short to contact, down to level to up, stays on it, keeping the hands inside the baseball, barrel is in the zone for a long time. The approach is line drive from field to field, had a tee exit velocity of 71 mph, with a ton more in there as he gains strength. Ran a 7.72 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, projects out as more of a second baseman long term, moves well to both sides. The feet are clean fields low and out front with minimum wasted movement. Throws from his ear, clean arm  action, clocked at 61 mph. The starts and feeds were performed correct, good flow on slow roller play. Added weight gain and strength, will aid in his development.
