Estimated 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame, with plenty of room to add strength as he continues to mature. The freshman caught the first game of the double-header and showed advanced feel for receiving. His pop times to second base between innings were 1.96, 2.01, 2.25, 2.03 (Knees), 2.23, and 2.06. Has a clean arm stroke with quick exchange. Hitting in the six-spot for The Highlanders, the right-handed hitting Romo was 0-for-2 with a walk, but shows a balanced setup with rhythm at the plate. Overall this is a young player that college with a very high ceiling, it is rumored that he also plays shortstop.
