Level path at the plate with uphill finish. Shows average bat speed. Nice feel for barrel. Covered ground well in center field. Good jumps and confident first step.
12.3.16: Crosson is 5-10 and has an athletic frame, throws from a three-quarters arm slot with smooth drop and drive delivery. Short, free arm action, normal effort. Shoulders level and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball sat 75-77, touched 78 with some armside run. Change-up had decent armspeed and hard sink, running 67-69. Curveball had sharp 1/7 break, running 65-67. Showed ability to throw strikes with all three pitches. Hits from the left side, short lunging stride. Loads back and down, longer swing path that works uphill. Decent hips and a pull approach, exit velocity off of the tee was 82. As an outfielder, took good routes and showed good footwork. Soft hands, played through the ball well with a clean exchange. Three-quarters arm action with a position velocity of 80. Home to first was 4.33.
