Prep Baseball Georgia
Staff

Emerson, GA - The Prep Baseball Georgia Staff hosted the Top Prospects Upperclass Games on June 11th at Lakepoint Sports. This event was an opportunity to see top players from the 2025 class. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman, ran the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw in live games with Trackman. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Tuesday.

Today, we will begin the event analysis with a look at the traditional statistics collected at a showcase: 60 yard time, fastball velocity, exit velocity, arm strength, and pop times. In the coming days, we will take a deeper dive into the, TrackMan data, along with a closer look at some more position player data.

Brody Dawson, IF, Calvary Day HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Quiet confidence at the plate matches with vicious power to display a hidden gem in the 2025 class. Dawson flashed his hitting tool against a low 90’s arm at Top Prospect Games. Executes letting the ball travel, and driving it the other way for an opposite field gapper for a stand-up double. Dawson is coming off a tremendous spring with Calvary Day HS, and was a key contributor to their state playoff run leading them to Rome for the GHSA 3-A state championship. Brody Dawson is a name to remember for the uncommitted players in 2025.

Tucker Hale, RHP, Houston County HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Works from the stretch but has showcased the arm strength to go 6+ innings on multiple occasions. After an extremely strong spring, Hale has continued to impress on the mound. FB worked its way into the mid-80’s with IVB, has life and runs into RHH. Has a distinctive CV and CH. CV shows 12/6 shape with tight spin. CH is strong off a FB with depth and fall off. Had a solid spring pitching over 40 innings with 43K’s. His opponents had a .196 BA against him. One of the top uncommitted arms of the 2025 class.

Noah Jordi, OF/1B, Liberty University Online Academy HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Confident, vocal on the infield. Strong, physical 6-foot-2, 185lb. frame with quickness in his feet and in his bat speed. Flashed multiple 90+ exit velocity barrels with ease at batting practice at Top Prospect Games. Loose hands with leg-kick load in the box. Heavy pull-side hitter with tons of juice. Disciplined eye at the plate, swings with intent and makes hard contact. Good pitch recognition, makes good adjustments to be on time for the heat and stay back on the breaking balls. Amazed by how he handles himself on the field, picks up everybody.

Hudson Spencer, MIF, Kings Ridge Christian HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Had a great round of batting practice and multiple loud barrels in the Top Prospect Games. Shows quiet confidence at the plate. Has an aggressive yet disciplined swing. Didn’t swing at a pitch that he didn’t like, patient approach with quiet confidence. Hands held high and loose with a wide stance, give the 6-foot, 170lb all the power he needs. Has room to fill out this summer and into the fall. Had a hot spring with Kings Ridge Christian while on their state playoff run, was a key contributor at the plate. Hits for hard contact, matches plane well for opposite field and pull-side line drives. Quick guy to have on the base paths. Flashed some arm strength as well with an 85 INF velocity. Good player to watch for the summer.

Raedan Jones, RHP/OF, North Paulding HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Jones really impressed with his showing in game. To lead off the game Jones sees one deep and bangs one over the rightfield wall for a homerun. Also went backside in his second at bat showing his mature approach again going backside. Really great athlete that has some serious juice that was displayed. At 6’0 160 Jones still will continue to fill in to his body and only add strength. Jones also can get it done on the bump and was up to 86, could definitely take the two-way route. Big name to follow this summer.

Mason Gazaway, OF, Marietta High School, 2025
Uncommitted. Gazaway took advantage of his opportunities and did the most with them. He smoked two extra base hits one deep to the CF wall for a triple and then going backside to left for a double. Gazaway’s speed was also a factor in these base hits as he runs a 6.79. His swing is very smooth and stays in the zone for a long time allowing for high contact rate. Gazaway’s fast and athletic swing allowed for him to be on plane for most pitches. If he continues this strong summer he will not be uncommitted much longer.

Jeremy Ramos, OF/1B, Rabun Gap, 2025
Uncommitted. After a nice round of BP, displaying an all-fields approach, working backside multiple times through the round. Hitting a max exit velocity of 97.4. Ramos carried over the approach into the Top Prospects game. In the first inning Ramos stepped up to the plate and barreled one up, smoking it through the left-side. Displaying a smooth lefty swing with great leverage through the zone with quick bat speed to match. Ramos will be a 2025 name to watch over the summer and during the spring at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee.

Gabriel Byrd, OF, Homeschool, 2025
Uncommitted. Byrd was as pesky as they come at the plate in the Top Prospects game. Leading off he collected two pull-side knocks, with one being an XBH. Demonstrated a knack for getting on base with impressive bat-to-ball. There is good balance throughout the swing. Was also a threat on the bases showing off the speed, after running a 6.60 60 yard dash earlier in the day. A projectable athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 184-pounds. The former future gamer showed out at the Top Prospects game flashing a blend of hit-tool and speed.

Luke Yano, LHP, North Atlanta HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Yano breezed through two innings of work with ease. Sitting batters down left and right. Filling up the zone and attacking batters with confidence, with the dynamic three pitch arsenal. Sitting at 82-84 on the FB. 73-75 on the CB that would fall off the table. 75-77 on the CH. Throwing any pitch in any count Yano had batters off-balance from the start racking up a heavy number of swings and misses. Projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds. Name to watch as the stock continues to rise.

Landon Kemp, SS/RHP, Cherokee Bluff HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Coming off an impressive spring, as a key producer, for a Cherokee Bluff Squad that made a run at the 4A State Championship. Kemp has continued to impress in summer ball having a good week at the plate during NPI. Not slowing down there on Tuesday of the Top Prospect games, Kemp came through with a backside base knock. Peppering one through the left-side displaying a swing with good separation and excellent leverage throughout. Kemp continues to shine on every stage and will be a name to know during the summer and so forth.

Austin Treadwell, RHP, Wheeler HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Treadwell has gotten off to a strong start this summer and adds to that at the GA Top Prospect Games. Showing electric stuff with a FB up to 91 and sitting upper 80’s showing real feel for spin with both the FB and SL. Treadwell shows a clean/polished delivery with a quick arm action. Treadwell will be a name to follow throughout the summer and into the fall.

Ryan Whitley, RHP, Tift HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Whitley has jumped on the radar as a strong/reliable arm out of Tift County. Whitley had a strong showing at Top Prospect Games Working two clean innings. Ryan shows some lively stuff with a mid 80’s FB and a sharp/tight BB. Whitley shows good feel on the mound throwing the BB at will in any count. Whitley will be a good name to follow as the summer progresses.

Chase Morrison, RHP, Banks Co HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Morrison, a long/lanky right hander out of Banks County impressed at the Upperclass Top Prospects Games. Chase showed a high spin FB up to 86 (2600 RPM). Morrison showed a strong secondary pitch in the CB keeping hitters off of the FB and producing swing and miss out of the zone. Morrison is a strong option in the rotation this summer for a talent filled Devine team.

KJ Hart, RHP/OF, River Ridge HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Hart continues to be a strong 2-way player left uncommitted in the 2025 class. KJ flashed multiple 100+ EV in his BP round on Tuesday and collected a few barrels during game play. Hart also saw time on the mound working a clean inning showing a heavy upper 80’s FB topping out at 91, and a true SL playing well off of the FB. Hart’s FB has been seen up to 93 this summer and will continue to grow and become more polished on the mound. The 2023 Future Gamer is one of the top players left on the board in the class.

Will Pridgen, RHP, Tift County, 2025
Uncommitted. Pridgen has been a steady performer over the last year or so, and as a big piece in the Tift County playoff run. He has been as consistent as they come on the mound with the fastball in the mid 80’s, topping out at 86 and 87. The athletic/synced up delivery is what drives the power, and has confidence with 2 off speed pitches that he can throw at will. He has a controlled tempo that will work quicker when he is rolling. He made quick work of his 2 innings of work, and really showed the pitch ability with his sequencing of pitches. Pridgen is going to be able to make an impact at the next level whether it is in a starting roll or out of the pen.
