DIAMOND NOTES | WEEK 4

Isaac Zoske C / North Polk, IA / 2024

7 hits in 11 at bats on the week. Three of those hits went for extra bases (3 doubles) and he drove in four. Raised season average to .531 (currently 12th in the state).

As a defensive game-caller, Zoske continues to lead one of the best pitching staffs in the state: His pitching staff gave up 4 runs in 3 games this week and did not have a stolen base against him all week.

Luke Fynaardt / Pella Christian, IA / 2024

Hit .583/.643/1.393 with 5 singles, 2 doubles, 1 RBI, 5 R, 2 BB and no strikeouts against all 3A/4A schools (Norwalk, Grinnell, Knoxville and Indianola).

Isiah Rose 3B / 1B / Davenport Assumption , IA / 2025

.611 (11-18), 3 HR, 2 2B, 8RBI, 9R, 4BB

Currently in the top 10 for total hits on the 2024 season (38).

Colin Coonradt SS / 2B / Cedar Falls, IA / 2024

Rankings StateRank: 11 / POS: 2

The Iowa commit had a big week:

7-for-14 with a triple, two hom runs, 10 RBIs, and 11 Runs Scored.

Fletcher Yates / Cedar Falls, IA / 2025

Two hits allowed with 13 Ks in 9-1 Win, 0 ER

Landyn Putman | 2024 | P | Wilton

Threw a perfect game vs North Cedar Tuesday night (just Wilton's second perfect game in last 30 years). Putman is 4-1 with a 1.60 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 30.2 innings pitched for the Beavers.
