Prep Baseball Dakota State Games: Data Dive

The Prep Baseball Dakota State Games event took place Wednesday June 11, 2024. The event was held at Ronken Field at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The invite-only event featured prospects from the 2025, 2026 & 2027 grad classes; and included many breakout performances from the players in attendance. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and coaches in attendance.
Thank you to the players, parents, our staff, along with the coaching staff at Augustana for such a great event.
There were a number of great individual performances this year at the Prep Baseball Dakota State Games.
As we drill down into the statistics, of the over 55 players to attend our invite-only event:
+ 25 players ran sub-7.2 60's.
+ 34 players recorded 85+ mph exit velocities
+ 12 players recorded 80+ mph infield throws
+ 7 players recorded 80+ mph outfield throws
+ 6 catchers recorded 75+ mph throws to second base
+ 5 catchers recorded sub-2.0 pop times
+ 24 pitchers were 80+ mph on the mound
