PITCHER OF THE WEEK | CADEN CLARAHAN

The uncommitted junior struck out 13 in his 6 1/3 innings against Iowa Valley last Wednesday. At our Preseason All-State, Clarahan was low-to-mid 80s with his fastball and showed a clean, projectable arm.

The right-hander is currently the Savages' innings leader. 

As a primary catcher, Clarahan's offensive contributions should not go overlooked: He also went 8-for-11 with four doubles, a home run, and eight RBI. 

PITCHER OF THE WEEK | COOPER SMITH

Cooper Smith C / 3B / Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln, IA / 2026

Smith had a big week at the plate, finishing 7-for-11 (.636) with three triples, a double, a home run, and seven runs batted in. His 18 RBIs is currently tied for sixth highest in the state.  

The 2026 grad possesses some premium tools, including a sub-7 60 time and upper 90s exit velocity.
